3D printing in health

These printers are being used to print bladders, and kidneys and other organs are in the works as well; these have great potential in that rejection risk is reduced because the tissue can be made from the patient’s own cells. From prosthetics to teeth to heart valves, 3D printing is bringing made-to-order, custom solutions into operating rooms and physicians’ offices.
